Radio Requirements
The B-24 Liberator requires three servos, one for the elevator and one for each aileron. A two-channel radio setup is required with no mixing capabilities needed. Standard servo and receiver equipment will work well in this airplane. To lighten the plane up, I recommend using mini servos and a small 5-channel receiver. You can also use one servo for both ailerons if you would prefer.

The Kit:
The kit includes: two EPP wing core panels with spar slots cut for easy spar installation, one EPP fuselage with most of the contour cuts already made, pre-cut corrugated plastic tail sections (elevator and rudders), basswood spars and wing center joiners, basswood sub-trailing edge, balsa ailerons, two control horns, two aileron pushrods and detailed instructions on how to build the aircraft. All you will need is your radio equipment, strapping tape, Goop like Shoe Goo, a little epoxy, covering like Ultracote and some time. Most of the detailed cutting has already been done in order to keep building time to a minimum. The engine nacelles are not included in the kit but there is enough extra EPP foam to make your own.

The Plane:
This plane was designed with the intermediate in mind. This plane builds fairly light so it's a good starter plane to learn aileron controls. With full throw in the ailerons it has a great roll rate. If you are learning to fly a plane with ailerons for the first time you should decrease this throw. Every airforce needs a bomber or two.

Ability Level:
Recommended for intermediate to advanced builders and pilots.
